About the Session:  The Cost of Discipleship" (Title Updated) 

I would like to call this session: "The Cost of  Discipleship". This session seeks to discuss the "Cost" of discipleship and wrap things up in our brief (yet very important) series on discipleship. Lets look at our Key Objectives  and discuss, brainstorm and even map out HOW we can achieve our Key Objectives. See CG Leaders page that lists our 4 Key Objectives.

Discuss what is it?

Can we define it? (See notes if you like)   

Is there a difference between a believer and a disciple?  

Is every believer a disciple?  

Read Matt 16:24 and discuss

While Salvation is free, a disciple has a cost? Agree/ Disagree.   

Is there a cost that a disciple pays?

How might you achieve them? Brainstorm

Watch for any examples or lessons on discipleship. 

 Part of being a Disciple is to make disciples- Matt 28:16-20 Agree or Disagree? Discuss.  

You can pour into someone only to the measure that they can receive. Agee or disagree. Discuss.  

Can you think of whom you may have poured into in your life? Take 5 mins at least of silence to think of this.  

Discipleship is not only pouring into someone but also being poured into. Agree/ Disagree. Discuss.  

Discipleship is a lost art and lacks intentionality. Agree or disagree. Discuss.   

How can we become intentional and embrace disciple making- Please take time to brainstorm.   

 Can you list as many examples as you can of pouring into someone’s life?
