Amazing Grace

Have you ever been ambushed by the grace of God?

Last week we travelled to Melbourne for my 60th Birthday.  We spent the week with Ben and Charee and our two darling grandsons. It was a wonderful week. However, just a couple of days out from our flight it did not look like we would be able to go.  Perth was in lock down and Victoria did not want anyone from WA coming to their state.   However, at the last minute, we were able to get permits and I got my birthday wish.

Then when we came home we did not have to self-quarantine. The timing of our trip going and coming was perfect! Without a doubt, we had experienced a profound miracle. But this was not a miracle in response to prayer or faith. When our government declared the lock down I was convinced we were not going to Melbourne.

But God had other plans. God ambushed us with His grace!  God did not have to make a way for us to go to Melbourne. But he did. Amazing Grace!
