For when the Trumpet Sounds

One day Jesus Christ will return. The arch angel, with a booming voice that will be heard in every part of the earth, will shout the announcement and a trumpet will sound and shake the earth. Then the resurrection will take place, and in the twinkling of an eye our bodies will be transformed into immortal bodies that will never die. And so, shall we be with the Lord forever.

Today our bodies are mortal and subject to pain and decay. This earthly life is temporal and fading.  But Christ Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, lives in our hearts.  He is ‘heaven inside of us’ guaranteeing what is to come.

So, while we go about our lives we do so with joy because the ‘Best is Yet to Come’. Are you ready for the resurrection?
