Get up and walk!

But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Nazarene, get up and walk!” Acts 3: 4 – 6.

Peter and John did not have any cash on them when they came across a lame man who was begging for money.  But they had Jesus. And in the Name of JESUS (in the authority of JESUS) they commanded the man to get up and walk!  And the man did get up and walk!  In fact, he went walking and leaping and praising God.

Did you know that you carry the authority with JESUS with you?   Jesus has given you permission to use his Name. Perhaps we need to start commanding the blessings of God over our families and friends a bit more than we do. So, pray for people… then command GOD’s best in Jesus Name.
