Jesus came for Everyone

“This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” 1 Timothy 2: 3 – 4.

It is God’s desire and will that everyone is saved from eternal destruction. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezk 33:11). On the contrary, God wishes that all people will turn from their wicked ways and turn towards Jesus Christ and be saved. Astoundingly, God still cares deeply for all people… including the wicked.

However, from the Scriptures, we can see that it is the responsibility of those who are ‘saved’ to make sure that they pray for other people. And it is also the responsibility of the ‘saved’ to do what they can to communicate the incredibly Good News of Jesus to the people that they interact with.

Everyone needs to be saved from hell. So, someone has to pray and tell others about Jesus. Will you be that ‘someone’ who will willingly let their light shine so others will be drawn to faith in Jesus Christ?
