Knocking

Your life has many parts to it.  You could even say that your life is like a house made up of lots of rooms and areas. For example, you have your work part, leisure part, family part, character part, finance part etc. Together all these rooms make up your complex life.

And Jesus Christ knocks on the door of every part of your life.  He does not force his way into every room in your life. He knocks and waits for you to welcome him in. A source of defeat and dysfunction in a Christians life is often an indication that they have a room in their heart that is closed to Jesus. They want to handle that area themselves. But that only leads to unrest and discontent.

I urge you to open every door in your heart to Jesus.  Let him come in and restore, heal and build your whole life.
