My Grace is All You Need

As a relatively new grandparent, I have discovered something new about myself.  And that is an overwhelming urge to spend my hard-earned money on toys for the boys.  I just can’t stop myself…they point at a toy and then I’ll buy it.  These two little boys have done nothing to earn their gifts…I do it because they’re mine. I once caught my own dad emptying his wallet out as he literally handed ‘cash’ to his grandchildren who had surrounded him with hands outstretched.

I think grandparents model the ‘grace’ of God. God has blessings for you because you are his…and for no other reason.  That’s grace…and it is all you need.
